As a pioneering technology company, Alibaba has announced its AI language model, Tongyi Qianwen, and stated that it will soon be integrated into all of the company’s applications.
Tongyi Qianwen, a proprietary AI product of Alibaba Group, is showcased in the promotional video preparing event invitations, creating travel guides, and guiding shoppers in choosing cosmetic products.
Initially, it will be integrated with Alibaba’s business messaging application DingTalk, where it will be used to prepare meeting notes, written communications, and business proposal drafts. Additionally, Tongyi Qianwen will be compatible with Alibaba’s voice assistant, Tmall Genie.
In a live broadcast, Alibaba CEO Daniel Zhang stated that the Tongyi Qianwen technology “will bring significant transformations to our production, business, and lifestyle.”
Following this announcement, Alibaba shares rose by 1.5% on the Hong Kong stock exchange, despite the overall market trend.
